I started working in this industry on the other side of the camera, in the Art Department of all places.. During this time, I worked on productions including "The Last Dragon Slayer", "Endeavour", "Breathe" and "Victoria & Abdul". During my time working in props & set decoration, I developed a love and appreciation for all the work that goes into creating a production, I had the chance to see incredible actors at work and after a few years, with a bit more life experience under my belt (and more money in my bank account!) I felt now was the right time to pursue my true passion, which was to become an actor.
I then went onto study on the RADA 12-week Shakespeare intensive before training at The Urdang Academy in Musical Theatre. After a dance-related injury, resulting in reconstructive knee surgery and then being stuck in a hefty leg brace, I focussed my attentions solely on my craft as an actor. I completed my training at Urdang, and went onto study with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain (NYT) and the Independent Centre for Actor Training (ICAT).
Over the last couple of years, I've been incredibly lucky to work in Fringe Theatre and Independent Film as an actor, and work on other projects as a SPACT (Specialist Action Performer) and am continuing to hone my craft training in various workshops to improve my skillset as an actor.
